Join the Clinical Practice Guidelines on Management of Hypertension, a forthcoming seminar and workshop to Updating the knowledge and upskilling our practices in approaching issues of Managing Hypertension and Related diseases.
This event is organized by PERDIM following a success of similar Seminar & workshop in 2024 with topic focusing on revisiting the Clinical Practice Guidelines of Diabetes Mellitus Type 2, an escalating global health issue.
We are grateful to have the Academy of Family Physicians of Malaysia (AFPM) with us again. An established organization that provides professional development and continues medical education of the general practitioners. Its role in facilitating the accredited parallel training process has produced well rounded healthcare professionals in multiple areas, thus improving patient care through a more integrated approach. There will be a Problem based learning workshop in small group sessions, facilitated and coordinated by facilitators from AFPM
This event is also aims to equip us with the latest evidence-based guidelines, ensuring our practices remain at the forefront of medical excellence. The lecturers from Medical Faculty, Universiti Teknologi MARA will moderate the lecture sessions with interactive learning tools.
We are also honoured to have the Chairman of CPG on Management Hypertension and sponsored distinguished speakers to share thie experts insights and experiences which will provide invaluable guidance and practical knowledge that we can apply in our clinical settings.

Over the course of the event, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in interactive workshops, watch live demonstrations, engage in fruitful discussions, replenish and refreshing learning environment, structured assessment, and validated test and quiz.
To create an avenue for another lifelong learning experience which is more relevant and practical to the current GP’s setting in Malaysia and in the long run, hopefully getting accredited by the relevant bodies or the Ministry of Health as a Certificate of Competency for the GPs accordingly.
To strengthen the collaborative works between the GPs and the specialists as well as between the GPs and the Primary Care Doctors in the Private and Public Sectors.
